A couple of things that have happened this week have made me think about the expression “I’m here for a good time, not a long time”. In some ways that seems a bit glib but rather than taking it as sarcastic, I’ve just been thinking about how we don’t need a big event or “moment” to appreciate what we have or who we get to share it with.
